My name is Heather, and I created Orante Press from a desire to spend less time rushing through my faith and more time dwelling in it.

Like many Catholics, I have found myself reaching for beautiful resources that help me slow down and grow- whether that's opening the Magnificat with my morning coffee, listening to the Hallow app while driving, reading about the lives of the saints, or simply learning more about the rich history and traditions of the Church. Each one has become a small invitation to return to prayer.

Orante Press grew from that same desire.

Each month, we'll explore a different corner of the Catholic faith together. One volume may introduce a saint whose life inspires deeper trust in Christ. Another may uncover the history of a monastery, a feast day, a religious order, or a centuries-old tradition that quietly shaped the Church. There are thousands of beautiful stories waiting to be discovered, and every month offers something new.

To accompany each publication, I've paired it with a 30-hour prayer candle, thoughtfully poured to encourage a slower pace- a simple invitation to linger with what you've read, reflect in prayer, and return throughout the month.

I didn't create Orante Press because I have mastered my faith.

I created it because I haven't.

Like you, I am still learning. I am still discovering the extraordinary beauty of the Catholic Church one step at a time. Orante Press is an invitation to make that journey together.

Before founding Orante Press, I founded Mobaak Aroma Co. in 2017, where I've spent the past several years producing bath, body & home fragrance products, with intention- for clean living. Candle making has long been part of my life, and it felt only natural that this new chapter would continue that tradition- this time with a purpose rooted in prayer.
